9月4日、レイバーデイの月曜日にジャパンデイを行いました。 今年は、オレゴン州から、日本舞踊の原貴子先生をお招きし、 聚楽舞(じゅらくまい)と傀儡師(かいらいし)という古い伝統的な踊りを披露していただきました。 その他、舞台では、獅子舞、日本舞踊、琴、太鼓、武道の演舞が行われ、満席の観客に日本文化を楽しんでいただきました。 歩行者天国では、夏の風物詩『縁日』、折り紙体験、書道、などが行われ、たくさんのお客様が日本文化にふれることができました。
