ミニドカ国定史跡:ビジターセンター

ミニドカ国定史跡で、2019年7月7日、毎年恒例のミニドカ巡礼と同じ週末に、新しいビジターセンターの開催式が行われました。 開催式には、アイダホ州、ワシントン州、オレゴン州、カリフォルニア州、ユタ州、遠いところはワシントンD.C.から500人近くの方が出席されました。

伝承庭 Ribbon Tying Ceremony

9月15日、アイダホ在住日本人会は、コールドウェル市のIndian Creek Celebrationの一環として行われた、伝承庭のオープニングセレモニーに参加しました。 伝承庭は、日系人(JACL) の方が中心になって、資金を調達、この地域に根を下ろした日系人の歴史を記念する目的で作られました。
