“Piano Lovers” is a piano group that originated from a Japanese piano enthusiast group of the same name. Formed in 2010 by Japanese music lovers living in the Treasure Valley, the group has gained valuable performance experience by regularly hosting potluck-style parties where members perform in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. As a result of these activities, some members have recently secured opportunities to perform at larger venues; they appear in duo concerts at the Morrison Center twice a year and also perform at churches, schools, and other events. Michael Graviet serves as the vocalist for the fantastic music band “Almost Famous.”

For Japan Day 2026, we will perform the following songs:

  • 「Tea Picking」Piano duet ( Michiko Miller & Mari Vargas Villazon)
  • 「Summer Memories」Piano duet ( Nagako Pack & Miller Michiko)
  • 「A Thousand Winds」Vocal solo & Piano ( Michiko Miller &  Mari Vargas Villazon)
  • 「The Merry-Go -Around of Life」Piano duet ( Akari & Mari Vargas Villazon)
